We started Chick Fry at 133 East South Street, IL, because we wanted to share the food we grew up loving. We had one goal: to serve fresh, tasty, and Halal fast food that everyone could enjoy. What started as a family recipe for chicken and fries turned into a place where neighbors, friends, and visitors come to eat and feel at home.
At Chick Fry, everything is made to order. We don’t serve pre-cooked meals. Instead, we use our own recipes to make every plate of chicken, wings, and fries fresh. From our Popcorn Chicken to our Honey Hot Tender Wings, the flavor is built from the ground up with care and family tradition.
Many fast-food places serve quick meals, but at Chick Fry we do it differently. We use only fresh, Halal ingredients and cook them the right way every time. Our Chick Fry Seasoned Fries and Honey Hot Wings are one-of-a-kind, made with the spices and methods perfected over time. That’s what makes our food special.
We are open from Tuesday to Sunday between 11AM and 8PM, giving you plenty of time to stop by for lunch, dinner, or anything in between. Whether you’re planning a family outing, a casual meal with friends, or a quick order on the go, Chick Fry is here to serve you.

Cielo Tacos is a restaurant focused on authentic Mexican cuisine with fresh local ingredients. Cielo Tacos was founded by Javier Cielo, who, at just 17 years old, emigrated to the United States in search of a better future. Javier, or Javi as he’s called, started out washing dishes in a restaurant. After 14 years of hard work and dedication, Javi graduated from culinary arts school. In 2021, after the tough pandemic that many of us experienced, Javi founded Cielo Tacos in Aurora, IL, and later moved to Plano, IL, where it is currently located. Your satisfaction is our priority

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing healthful meals to adults age 60+ (and spouses) throughout Kendall County,
including fresh home-delivered meals, meals with local restaurant partners (including Two Partners and Planet Pizza in Plano), lunches at local community partners
(including Oswegoland Senior and Community Center and, coming soon, the United Methodist Church in Plano),
emergency shelf-stable meals twice a year, five pick-up meals for the week, and more.
There is a small suggested donation per meal; no one is ever turned away if unable or unwilling to pay.
