Committee & Groups

The Plano Area Chamber of Commerce offers many different committees for their members to join. From Golf Outings to the Business Expo to the Health and Wellness Expo, we have a wide variety of opportunities where you and your employees can network with other Chamber Members, as well as members of the community. This is also a great way to become more involved in your community. Below are the different committees and who to contact for more information.

 Committes

  • Membership-Work to attain regular membership by all businesses, special memberships by all clubs, organizations and or churches as well as individuals desiring to help with the work of the Chamber. They are also members of the Ambassador Club, which help to make new members feel welcome as well as find opportunities for improvement for current members.

  • Education-Provide a line of communication between the public school system and the Chamber Board so that each may be aware of the others activities.

  • Publications-Develop marketing strategies that will enhance retail and commercial business opportunities for membership of the Plano Area Chamber of Commerce for the greater Plano area.

  • Finance-Compile an Annual Budget and responsible for Audit.

  • Legislative- Assess and stay knowledgeable about pending changes to local, state and federal laws which could affect member businesses.
